How Meetprep.org handles information for student practice.
The service
Meetprep.org is a student practice service. It uses Google sign-in for coaches and participating students.
Information we keep
We keep Google email and display name, account role, school and class membership, answers, attempts, results, progress and activity times, audio playback progress, and submitted CS source code and judging results.
Who can see it
Students can see their own information. Coaches can see information for students in classes they coach. The service operator can access information as needed to run the service and provide support.
Where it is handled
The web service runs on Vercel in cle1 (Cleveland), and data is stored in Supabase us-east-2 (Ohio) and in operator backups. Submitted CS source code and judging results are also handled by a separate judge computer.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept for the duration of the program and may be deleted at the end of a school year at the operator's discretion. A student or coach may request deletion at any time by emailing stephen.niles@gmail.com.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication sessions and short-lived authorization of practice audio playback. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
