Nerd Prep
Practice for Texas academic competitions, built for coaches and their students.
What Nerd Prep is
Nerd Prep is a practice platform for Texas academic competitions. Students work through practice sets and timed drills modeled on each event's real format, and coaches see how every student in their class is progressing. Current events: Music Memory and Computer Science, with more to come soon.
Who can sign in
Nerd Prep is invitation-only for now. A coach is set up for their school, creates a class, and adds each student's email address. Students then sign in with that Google account. If your email is not on a class roster yet, sign-in is refused and you will be asked to check with your coach.
Why we ask you to sign in with Google
Sign in with Google is the only way in, so we never store a password. We request just your Google name and email address, and we use them to match you to your class roster, show your name to your coach, and keep your practice history with your account. We do not sell that information or use it for advertising. The Privacy page lists exactly what we keep and for how long.
